Allied Carrier Aircraft of World War II is a comprehensive guide to every aircraft used by the Allied navies between 1939 and 1945, complete with vibrant illustrations of carrier aircraft and their markings. 

This book, which contains fighters, fighter-bombers, torpedo bombers, dive-bombers, reconnaissance aircraft, floatplanes, and flying boats, is arranged chronologically by type and nationality.

The most well-known models are included, including the Fairey Swordfish torpedo bomber, which proved to be so successful at the Battle of Taranto in 1940 and assisted in sinking the German battleship Bismarck in 1941, as well as the Grumman F4F Wildcat, Douglas TBD Devastator, and Douglas SBD Dauntless that fought at the Battle of Midway in 1942.
