Pigeon 'Cher Ami' Soft Toy
Cher Ami was a male homing pigeon who served in the United States Army Signal Corps during World War I.
He is remembered for providing a critical communication that saved the "Lost Battalion" during the France Meuse-Argonne offensive in October 1918.
Despite being injured during the operation, he successfully delivered the message and saved the lives of approximately 200 soldiers.
