The Supermarine Spitfire was produced throughout World War II. There were many variations and its origins date back to the Type 224 of 1931. This is a 1:72 scale version of the MKI and is shown in the livery as flown by Sergeant R Havercroft of the 92nd squadron in 1940. The model is in flight mode and comes with a stand which allows placement of the aircraft through 4 rotations. It has a wingspan of 15.5cm and is part of the Oxford Aviation range.
Metal and plastic construction.
Comes boxed with display stand.
